Music is a big part of my life.
There is no day where I don’t listen to at least two hours of state pumping music.
And the right music makes a big difference, especially when it comes to the gym.
Often times the right music is the difference between beating your personal best or going home empty handed.
And getting stronger is how you get bigger.
So in the spirit of helping you hit your fitness goals this year…
I put together a playlist of my favorite state pumping tracks.
A lot of them are dated, and some you might not like, but I’d bet there are at least 5 tracks that will get you fired up.
The list is in alphabetical order based on artist and available on Spotify and YouTube playlists.
I’ve the two, I’d recommend spotify for a few reasons:
- YouTube is starting to remove a lot of tracks
- Spotify makes sure the artists are getting compensated
- Spotify is easier to use and works with your phone screen off
- Spotify has higher quality tracks when you download them to your phone at extreme quality
If you don’t have Spotify, I highly recommend it, it’s hands down my favorite app.
Every song in the world is available to stream anywhere in the world for under $10 a month- it’s insane.
The way I use it is to save the songs I like, and then download them to my SD card so that you
- Don’t get hit with data charges
- Can listen any time without lag
- Get near CD quality sound
Just go into settings and set up:
- Download on wifi only (not cellular)
- Select your SD card (as opposed to your internal memory)
- Select quality for streaming as automatic and quality for download at extreme
- You can get close to 2000 songs stored for under 18 GB

And let me know in the comments if you have any killer tracks you think I should add to the list:
